Kara has appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing and Lifetime Television, and has been written up in Vanity Fair magazine ("easily the funniest"). She co-hosted The David Angelo Radio Show and was a columnist for BUST magazine for five years. She's been called "very funny" by Jim Gaffigan and Eddie Brill, David Letterman's chief talent booker. The Chicago Reader wrote she showed "great comedic promise."  She was a semi-finalist in New York City's She-Devil Comedy Festival, is the beloved creator and star of The Kara Buller Show and is a founding member of Chicago Underground Comedy, along with Deadpool's TJ Miller and Silicon Valley's Kumail Nanjiani. She has performed for the Caron Foundation, Culligan Water Company, Ohio University, Stratton Mountain Women's Week, and comedy clubs all over the US.
